All Are Hidden Talents

The next morning.

The alarm clock rang.

Everyone instinctively sprang out of bed, moving purely on autopilot as they washed up, styled their hair, and changed clothes. To an outsider, it might have looked like they were preparing for a speed-dating event!

Today was the official start of school, and everyone was required to gather in the classroom. While drinking the night before, the three of them had bragged about making the most flamboyant entrance possible, then leveraging their years of dating experience to dominate this year’s romantic competition.

"Ow, damn it—who the hell punched me in the back?" Long Aotian winced as he sat up, feeling a sharp pain between his shoulders.

Spotting the bottle of iodine and the band-aids on his bedside table, the events of the previous day slowly came back to him.

Shrugging it off, he hopped out of bed, slung a towel over his shoulder, grabbed his toothbrush and toothpaste, and headed out.

Li Longlong, mid-brush, glanced at him and asked reflexively, "You good?"

"Yeah, fine." Long Aotian splashed water on his face before starting to brush.

"Dude, you stole the show last night. That icy-cool girl was practically chasing you down to patch you up. And here I am, a certified hunk, and she didn’t even glance my way—unbelievable!" Huang Fei grumbled while slathering gel into his hair.

"Gotta admit, Lao Ao, you were on fire yesterday. When you turned all red, I legit thought you were about to punch that old creep into next week," Xu Shuai chimed in, even applying a face mask—talk about dedication.

Huang Fei and Li Longlong both nodded in agreement. "We’ve officially decided—you’re now the undisputed combat champion of Dorm 147!"

Long Aotian snorted. "Yeah, right. ‘Combat champion.’"

Amid the banter, they finished getting ready.

"So, what do you think of this hairstyle?" Huang Fei asked, admiring his reflection after a final comb-through. He’d put in serious prep work before school even started, all for this grand debut.

"Sharp!"

"Not bad."

"Let me borrow some of that."

Huang Fei immediately clutched his hair gel protectively. "Not today—tomorrow, help yourself!"

Watching their antics, Long Aotian couldn’t help but laugh.

Twenty minutes later, the four of them stepped out one after another.

Even though it was early September, the heat hadn’t let up.

Everywhere they looked, there were pairs of stunning legs—and this was University T, where the senior girls’ workout routines paid off in curves that put ordinary figures to shame.

In short, the campus practically hummed with that uniquely electric vibe of youth.

Long Aotian smirked at his self-proclaimed "Three Love Kings" as they shamelessly ogled the scenery.

He wasn’t like them. He preferred to admire openly.

For any guy, the most perfect, mesmerizing sight in the world was the silhouette of a young woman.

Let’s be real—everyone’s a visual creature. Everyone loves checking out beauty. The only downside? When said beauty is standing next to a literal bulldozer of a chaperone.

Soon, they arrived at the entrance of Sports Class 3.

"Hold up, hold up. If we’re the Four Kings, even our classroom entry needs to be legendary. Ever seen Meteor Garden?"

Huang Fei waxed poetic: "When we walk in, we gotta be ice-cold. No glancing around—just pure, untouchable swagger. The more we stand out, the more the girls’ll notice."

"Who goes first, then?" Xu Shuai asked eagerly. After Huang Fei’s "Ten Core Tenets of Girl-Chasing" lecture yesterday, Xu Shuai was hanging on his every word.

"Lao Ao, you’re the rookie—you lead."

Huang Fei paused for dramatic effect. "Look, you’re decent-looking, but let’s face it, you’re no me. If you walk behind us, you might not handle the pressure."

"Who takes the rear?" Li Longlong asked.

Huang Fei sighed heroically. "Guess it’s on me. I’ll anchor us. I’ll bear the weight of expectations!"

Under Huang Fei’s strategic direction, Long Aotian strode in first.

The classroom was already half-full, and every new arrival drew a wave of glances.

Meeting the crowd’s gaze, Long Aotian offered a mild smile, scanned the room, and headed for the back row.

Once he was in, Li Longlong took a deep breath, slipped a hand into his pocket, and sauntered in.

Eyes forward, lips curled just so, he even tossed his bangs mid-stride.

The sheer thrill of feeling eyes on him while fighting the urge to look back was equal parts exhilarating and nerve-wracking!

But Li Longlong’s dramatic hair flip cost him a critical second.

Before he could reach his seat—

Xu Shuai was already inside, hands in pockets, oozing faux nonchalance.

When Long Aotian saw Li Longlong hadn’t quite reached his seat yet, his lips twitched as he fought the urge to turn back and retrace his steps—that would’ve been way too obvious!

Originally, Long Aotian had managed to keep a straight face, but the moment he caught Xu Shuai’s utterly bewildered expression, he completely lost it, laughing so hard his stomach hurt. So this was the exciting college life he’d been looking forward to? No wonder his social media back in his old world was flooded with clips of university students pulling all sorts of hilarious stunts!

Just as the moment peaked, Huang Fei strode in.

Back straight, eyes fixed ahead, he casually held his phone with his watch-adorned wrist, pretending to reply to a message. With a slight tilt of his head and a smirk, he fidgeted with his phone—pure effortless cool, at least in his own mind.

The act dropped the second he sat down. “Well? How many girls were checking me out?”

“Tons! Wow, the girls in our class are seriously lively.”

“Mhm, I could totally feel all those eyes on me. Man, this is the best feeling ever.”

“Yo, Aotian, any girl catch your eye? We got your back if you wanna make a move.”

“Seriously? Did you guys come to University T just for the girls?” Long Aotian chuckled.

The self-proclaimed “Love Saint,” who drifted through romance without a single leaf sticking to him.

The “Love Knight,” who’d already turned down two girls chasing him.

And the “Love King,” who insisted on finding the one perfect match—no settling allowed!

And here they were, acting like they’d never seen a girl before...

The trio immediately protested.

“Who said it’s just about girls?”

“We’ve got dreams too, you know.”

“You underestimating us or what?”

Xu Shuai declared, “I’m a beast at badminton!”

Li Longlong bragged, “I can jump crazy high!”

Huang Fei added, “I run stupid fast!”

Long Aotian’s lips twitched again. “Damn, didn’t see that coming. You guys are full of surprises...”
