Villain: Even as a Girl, I Can Still Crush the Protagonist Chapter 267

"Welcome to Leap Sky Corporation."

A cheerful voice rang out. Little Wei turned to see a little girl in a white dress, looking about the same size as a petite lolita.

"Hello, my name is Bai Yi," Bai Yi said with a smile directed at them.

However, the one who actually received them wasn’t this little girl, but rather a man standing in the courtyard downstairs.

He wasn’t dressed in the typical leader’s suit but instead wore a refined yet modified blue robe that didn’t look cumbersome at all.

Hearing footsteps, he turned around, his gaze landing on Little Wei and the young Gu Wei.

"Long time no see. Though I didn’t expect there to be two of you," Ye Jin said as he approached them, patting Little Wei on the shoulder and then the young man’s.

But then his attention returned to Little Wei.

He reached out and ruffled her hair.

"Ah, a top-tier divine transformation cutie—such a contrast, but it’s pretty adorable."

Little Wei: "..."

She really didn’t like listening to this guy talk.

But it was obvious this man held a high position—likely Si’s boss. She had to hold back; she couldn’t let her wife lose her job.

"Want some milk candy?" Ye Jin conjured a handful of milk candies and stuffed them into Little Wei’s pockets.

Now Little Wei understood—this man was treating her like a kid!

Damn it!

She was about to bite someone!

"You weren’t like this when we first talked," the young Gu Wei said, glancing at the girl beside him before glaring at Ye Jin.

Back then, he had left himself a backup plan—a deal with Ye Jin. When the time was right, he would cultivate into a god with his remnant soul.

Of course, there was a price to pay.

"Ah, well, how should I put it? It was kind of an accident. I was supposed to find you myself, but it would’ve taken time. Liu is a good employee—she’d eventually find her destined one. Though things took an unexpected turn, I swear, the gender was your own choice."

Ye Jin raised his hand as if swearing, emphasizing that this really was a hard-to-explain mishap.

"Oh." The young Gu Wei’s tone was icy.

He was supposed to ascend to godhood—so how did things end up like this?

But now that his soul had settled into a female form, there wasn’t much he could do.

Starting over from scratch wasn’t an option—if he did, the staff Little Wei carried would vanish, and becoming a god again would be an uphill battle.

"Still, I did my best to give you cheats. And these worlds were handpicked by me and Liu to speed up your ascension. Though I admit, this last world was unexpected. I thought it’d take much longer." Ye Jin patted the young Gu Wei’s shoulder and sighed.

He had done everything he could to give Little Wei advantages—her journey to godhood and winning her lover back had been smooth sailing all along.

No major hiccups.

Except for this last world. But even then, it was a good kind of hiccup—better than dealing with someone like Yuan Qiaoqiao.

Honestly, Liu turning yandere? Terrifying.

Ye Jin was already starting to feel scared.

"Your new body is being manufactured as we speak. It should be ready in about three days. As for our deal… it’s time for you to fulfill your promise."

Before the young man could speak, Little Wei hurriedly cut in, "What promise? Selling a kidney is off the table—I won’t allow it!"

The young Gu Wei glanced at her, his expression complicated.

"Back then, I acted on my own, but the holes I dug are mine to fall into. Though for you, it’s unfair."

The more they spoke like this, the more uneasy Little Wei felt.

What kind of shady deal was this?!

Damn it! Was she really going to be the death of herself?!

Seeing Little Wei’s panic, Ye Jin patted her shoulder reassuringly. "It’s really not a big deal. You just need to work."

Work?

Little Wei let out a sigh of relief.

That was all?

Just some labor? Five years max—anything longer was a hard no.

Even a workhorse would collapse under that kind of pressure.

"Though, this ‘work’ isn’t quite what you’re imagining," Ye Jin added, seeing her relaxed expression.

Little Wei’s heart instantly leapt back into her throat.

"Alright, stop teasing her. She’s gullible," the young Gu Wei said, ruffling Little Wei’s hair with a helpless look in his eyes.

It was hard to believe that one day, he’d end up as this soft, delicate little sister.

The heavens had really played a cruel joke on him.

"What is it?!" Little Wei was practically bristling.

"It’s about you—well, me—taking over his position as the new leader of Leap Sky Corporation," the young man continued, still patting her head.

Little Wei’s face went numb.

"Oh… that’s all? It shouldn’t be too hard, right?"

Ye Jin gave her an enigmatic smile.

"What do you think?"

Little Wei’s confidence instantly crumbled again.

This… she might as well just die.

Before she could ask for more details, she noticed Si walking down the path toward them. Though her steps were unhurried, there was a hint of nervousness in her demeanor—almost like she had done something wrong.

When Si saw the young man, she offered an awkward smile.

"Long time no see."

The young Gu Wei’s emotions were equally tangled, but he still managed a faint smile.

"Long time no see."

Even if this godhood journey hadn’t been perfect, at least it was finally bearing fruit.

Then Ye Jin suddenly remembered something when he saw Si.

"Oh right, there’s something Si needs to apologize to you for."

The young Gu Wei frowned slightly, while Little Wei also shot Si a puzzled look.

"What is it?" the young man asked, though he already had a bad feeling.

Ye Jin didn’t explain, just glanced at Si.

After a long silence, Si finally met the young Gu Wei’s gaze.

"I’m sorry… I let your reincarnation get pregnant and have a child without your consent."

The young Gu Wei coughed violently—if he weren’t a soul right now, he’d swear he had tuberculosis.

"WHAT?!" Little Wei shrieked. Before anyone could react, she collapsed on the ground, playing dead.

The young Gu Wei was also rolling his eyes, barely managing to steady himself after a moment.

"Can’t even faint properly," he muttered, rubbing his temples.

After centuries of cultivating an elegant, refined demeanor, Gu Wei absolutely could not accept such an absurd turn of events.

"Si… you’ve changed."

That was all Si heard before the young Gu Wei abruptly merged back into Little Wei’s body.

Little Wei had only been unconscious for a few seconds before waking up again. Rubbing her head, she looked at the others.

"I’m Gu Wei," she declared.

"I passed out for a second, but that wasn’t really me. Now I’m whole again. I’ll faint first—excuse me." With that, Little Wei rolled her eyes and blacked out again.

Ye Jin: "..."

"So Gu Wei has a comedic side too?" He glanced at Si.

Even if escaping into his main body helped him avoid the issue, he’d still have to face this harsh reality when he woke up.
