The day was jam-packed with activities.

After buying gifts in the afternoon, Chen Shuo and Su Xiyan also purchased some fall and winter clothes.

Most of them were couple outfits.

Su Xiyan was like an artist, devoted to adorning her masterpiece.

In her eyes, her masterpiece was Chen Shuo.

It wasn't until nightfall that Chen Shuo and Su Xiyan prepared to return home.

As they drove past a bridal shop, Su Xiyan's eyes suddenly lit up.

They happened to be at a traffic light intersection, and during the red light, Su Xiyan pointed at the shop's exterior wall: "Chen Shuo, look!"

Chen Shuo followed Su Xiyan's finger and saw a large LED advertisement covering an entire wall.

The advertisement prominently featured the wedding photos of Chen Shuo and Su Xiyan that they had taken earlier that morning!

Chen Shuo was dumbfounded at how efficient this shop was!

The images of the handsome couple in their wedding attire were barely edited, yet they looked stunning!

Su Xiyan took out her phone and took a photo with the advertisement.

Chen Shuo: "Now, the whole Su City knows we're together. We've even taken wedding photos."

Su Xiyan: "What's wrong? Don't you like it?"

She leaned towards Chen Shuo, pinching his cheeks with her little hands and smiling sweetly, "Chen Shuo, now the whole Su City knows you're mine."

"You have to behave yourself from now on!"

Chen Shuo: "..."

"I feel like I'm at a disadvantage here."

Su Xiyan blinked her big eyes: "How are you at a disadvantage?"

Chen Shuo's agonizing scream overpowered even the car's sound: "Help!"

"Su Xiyan is murdering her husband!"

The two playfully roughhoused before returning to their home at the Haiyi Apartments.

After an exhausting day, Chen Shuo was truly tired.

After showering, he didn't even feel like playing games and just wanted a good night's sleep after crawling into bed.

Accompanying a woman while shopping is a physical activity! More tiring than a whole day of basketball practice!!

As soon as Chen Shuo got into bed, there was a knock on his door.

Su Xiyan's voice came through: "Chen Shuo, are you asleep?"

Without waiting for an answer, Su Xiyan opened the door: "I'm coming in!"

Chen Shuo hid his head under the covers, pretending to be asleep.

But Su Xiyan didn't care and shook him: "Chen Shuo, wake up."

Chen Shuo: "...Don't you need to sleep?"

"If you're not sleepy, don't disturb me. I'm trying to sleep!"

A battle for the blanket ensued, ending in Chen Shuo's defeat.

Su Xiyan held Chen Shuo's blanket, watching him in his little bear cartoon pajamas and unable to stifle her laughter.

She had bought those pajamas for Chen Shuo!

The cute little bear matched Chen Shuo's adorable little brother style perfectly.

Chen Shuo: "Give me the blanket!"

Su Xiyan: "No!!"

Chen Shuo: "Fine, it's better if you freeze me until I catch a cold, then I won't have to accompany you to your cousin's wedding."

Su Xiyan was unmoved: "Even if you're bedridden, I'll just find a wheelchair and roll you over there."

While she said that, Su Xiyan was just putting on a tough front.

The warm blanket was already back on Chen Shuo.

Chen Shuo felt something was off as he covered himself with the blanket, only to realize he had it on backwards.

Su Xiyan noticed too and reached over to help Chen Shuo flip the blanket around.

But she stepped on Chen Shuo's slipper at the bedside, lost her balance, and fell right onto Chen Shuo's bed.

Chen Shuo instinctively shifted to the side.

With a thud, Su Xiyan landed on the spot where Chen Shuo had just been sleeping, still warm and carrying his scent.

Was Chen Shuo's dodge intentional?

Su Xiyan was mad! But she couldn't show it. How could she tell Chen Shuo that she was angry because she didn't fall into his embrace?

If he found out, he would just mock her again.

So, even though she was mad, she couldn't let it show.

"Su Xiyan, why are you staying up late and disturbing my sleep? What do you want?"

Chen Shuo slept on the inside of the bed, hogging the entire blanket for himself without leaving any for Su Xiyan.

Fortunately, Su Xiyan wore a fuzzy house dress, so not having a blanket wasn't too cold.

"Chen Shuo, I'm having second thoughts."

Su Xiyan's sudden statement left Chen Shuo perplexed: "Second thoughts about what? About being with me?"

Su Xiyan shot Chen Shuo a glare: "..."

On any other day, Chen Shuo would have received a flurry of Su Xiyan's punches and kicks.

But tonight, her mood seemed somber as she looked at Chen Shuo with concern.

"Chen Shuo, I'm having second thoughts about asking you to accompany me to the wedding."

"Because for you, the risk is truly quite high."

Chen Shuo: "It's just a wedding, what risk? Are there monsters that can swallow me whole?"

Su Xiyan's gaze fixed intently on Chen Shuo, her tone serious: "Not just one, basically the entire wedding party."

"My cousin's wedding is in the neighboring Yu Hua City. Chen Shuo, do you know what nickname Yu Hua City has in the vampire hunting circle?"
