Zi Wangyou thought back to what had happened earlier, then shook her head. “That’s not right. I remember that person speaking in a very kindly manner. He didn’t seem like the ruthless leader of an evil organization at all. If he hadn’t pleaded for me, I might have lost my head.”

Hearing this, Tushan Rui said to Tushan Ju, “Grandma, it’s been so many years. People’s personalities can change.”

“You have a point. He disappeared for so long, and I’ve heard that he recently reappeared in the Inner Realm. Perhaps all those years have changed him.”

Ying Weiyang looked at Xu Mu with a smile. “Since I belong to you now, I’ll let only you see me from now on too.”

“You’re right. From now on, no one else is allowed to see you.”

Ying Weiyang gave Xu Mu a sweet smile.

“Then give me the spirit stones now.”

Xu Mu held out his hand. “I’ll take you to them.”
