"Seventh Sister!"
Three middle-aged women in cheongsams trembled with rage upon seeing the plump woman being struck.
"You pretty boy! How dare you hit someone? Do you believe you won’t make it out of Yunzhou alive?"
Zhang Qianyu grinned, revealing a defiant expression. "I’m Zhang Qianyu from Dragon Elephant Mountain! Try and stop me if you can!"
"You forgot to add 'Dao Alliance' before your name!"
A waitress who had just entered remarked, removing her baseball cap to let her long, dark hair cascade down.
An Yi stole a glance at her. Though her mask was still on, her bright eyes sparkled like stars, brimming with vitality.
Suddenly, he understood why Zi Xin, despite her delicate beauty, didn’t quite reach a "9 out of 10."
She lacked that distinctive flair—something this newcomer had in spades.
Even with her mask on, the three pretty boys from "Fruit Super Sweet" were already staring at her, transfixed.
Zhang Qianyu grinned. "Xiao Xiao, what took you so long?"
Xiao Xiao’s sword sheath automatically snapped out, smacking him on the head. "Call me 'Senior Sister'!"
"Seriously, do you know how much I’ve suffered in the past few hours?" Zhang Qianyu grumbled.
The plump woman had been groping him relentlessly—his face still bore lipstick marks.
He felt like his pure, youthful innocence had been trampled by a pig.
"Didn’t I promise you a Peiyuan Pill?" Xiao Xiao shot him a glance.
Zhang Qianyu’s face twisted in fury. "One Peiyuan Pill and that’s it? Do you know how humiliated I was? Do you people from Azure Sky Mansion have no humanity at all?"
"Two, then."
"Deal!"
Zi Xin curled her lips into a faint smile. "Dragon Elephant Mountain, Azure Sky Mansion… how interesting. Both prestigious orthodox sects."
"Eradicating demonesses like you is the Dao Alliance’s sacred duty!"
Xiao Xiao drew her sword, its blade gleaming coldly.
"Dao Alliance? What nonsense is this? You think two brats like you can take me on?"
Zi Xin smirked, flicking out a snake-like tongue before quickly retracting it.
"Don’t forget about me, sister."
Jiang Cheng smiled amiably.
Zi Xin raised an eyebrow. "And who are you?"
Jiang Cheng’s smile stiffened slightly.
"The number one on the Hidden Dragon Ranking! The Law Enforcement Bureau’s Four Saints—the Azure Dragon! And she doesn’t recognize me?"
"Playing dumb, huh?"
"Could you let go of my hand? I’m not interested in scheming, squinty-eyed types." Zi Xin’s gaze turned icy.
"What if I refuse?"
Jiang Cheng tightened his grip, interlocking their fingers, his smile unwavering.
Zi Xin’s eyes flashed with killing intent. "Then you’d better hold on tight!"
An Yi took a step back.
This was going to be good. He knew today wouldn’t be a waste!
Suddenly—
Jiang Cheng felt the thing he was holding grow thicker and thicker.
Soon, his hand could no longer contain it.
BOOM!
The spacious private room’s sofa was instantly overcrowded.
Zi Xin had transformed into a massive purple serpent!
Jiang Cheng’s expression darkened as he swiftly donned brass knuckles.
But before he could act, the serpent broke free from his grasp and lunged for the door.
Xiao Xiao and Zhang Qianyu barely had time to react before the serpent slipped past them and vanished outside.
A gust of wind howled through the room.
Silence returned, but everyone was stunned.
An Yi’s pupils contracted in shock before realization dawned on him.
He finally understood!
It all made sense now!
No wonder she could swallow such a long banana in one bite—she was a damn snake!
Jiang Cheng stared at his brass knuckles, his expression frigid.
He’d been too slow.
The middle-aged women in cheongsams exchanged bewildered glances.
The woman they’d been calling "sister" all this time… was a monster?
The three boys from "Fruit Super Sweet" trembled in terror.
One moment she was there, the next—gone?
Noticing Jiang Cheng’s questioning gaze, An Yi shrugged, indicating he hadn’t seen clearly either.
"That beautiful sister was… a snake?" Zhang Qianyu asked, stunned.
Xiao Xiao rolled her eyes. "She escaped! Is now really the time to be shocked?"
Zhang Qianyu hurriedly added, "Regardless, don’t you dare go back on those two Peiyuan Pills!"
If not for the Dao Alliance’s mission to uncover the demoness’s lair, he wouldn’t have endured such humiliation!
"Relax, you’ll get them. I’ll report to the elders." Xiao Xiao replied calmly, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "The net’s already cast outside. She won’t escape."
"Oh really?"
Jiang Cheng held up his communicator, his tone flat. "Latest update—your Dao Alliance’s thirty-six comrades have all been captured."
"What?!"
Xiao Xiao and Zhang Qianyu exchanged horrified looks.
They’d underestimated their opponent.
"Guess I’ll have to handle this myself."
Jiang Cheng stretched, then threw a punch through the air.
CRASH!
The window shattered, leaving a gaping hole.
Jiang Cheng was already gone.
"Impressive strength," An Yi murmured in admiration.
No wonder he topped the Hidden Dragon Ranking.
Xiao Xiao and Zhang Qianyu quickly followed.
An Yi rubbed his chin, preparing to join them.
He didn’t know the details, but he smelled entertainment.
"An Yi! An Yi! Don’t leave us! We’re from the same company!"
One of the "Fruit Super Sweet" boys, his face pale, desperately grabbed An Yi’s sleeve.
A cheongsam-clad woman pleaded, "An Yi, if you get us out safely, the entertainment industry’s best resources will be yours. You’ll be unstoppable!"
The others looked at him with hopeful eyes.
They were terrified—and An Yi seemed anything but ordinary.
They needed protection.
An Yi turned, flashing a chilling grin. "Oh? What makes you think I won’t kill you myself?"
The boy recoiled in horror, immediately releasing An Yi’s arm.
"Good luck surviving."
With that, An Yi leaped out the window.
The battle below was fiercer than he’d imagined.
Flames and lightning crackled.
The clang of metal weapons rang sharply.
Daoists in modern attire hurled talismans amidst the chaos.
The skirmish was a mess—no clear sides, just pandemonium.
Thankfully, the area was deserted, with no civilians around.
Otherwise, the sight of a giant serpent would’ve caused panic.
The purple serpent rampaged through the crowd.
A single tail swipe sent two Daoists flying into a wall, coughing blood.
Its hiss was deafening as it weaved through the battlefield.
More Daoists were sent sprawling.
"Stop!"
Xiao Xiao’s voice cut through the chaos.
The Daoists hastily retreated.
Their formation, fragile as paper, had been obliterated.
Several were already severely injured.
Zhang Qianyu arrived, his face grim. "Who the hell is this woman?"
Xiao Xiao shook her head, her gaze steely.
"You attack without even knowing your enemy? Are your Dao Alliance brains just tumors?" Jiang Cheng mocked, twirling his brass knuckles.
An Yi studied the serpent, a sense of familiarity nagging at him.
After scattering the Daoists, the serpent coiled up the building, reaching the six-story KTV’s rooftop.
There, Zi Xin stood waiting.
Her figure once again took human form.
However, she was now completely naked, her delicate, porcelain-like body starkly visible even in the darkness.
Her curvaceous silhouette made even the self-proclaimed ascetic Taoists swallow hard.
"May I ask what offense I’ve committed to provoke such an attack on my Hundred Ghosts Sect?"
Zi Xin flicked the blood from her fair arm and flashed a wicked smile.
