“I have already left the Mahayana Buddhist teachings within the Buddha Child, so the lineage will not be severed.”

“My continued existence is not necessarily a good thing for Buddhism. Only after I die will my junior brother have more room to display his methods. He will no longer have to hesitate and hold himself back because of me.”

“And then there is you, Benefactor Chu. I firmly believe that if I can do something for you, the future will certainly be better than the one I once saw.”

“Bai Xuanling can break his immortal bones. This monk can also surrender his own sarira.”

“From the moment I came here, I never intended to leave alive. I ask that you fulfill my wish.”

“I shall transform my body into an oath and make a great vow.”

“When Heaven and earth are unsettled, I shall transform into an indestructible Buddha Kingdom.”

“When all living beings are unstable, the Buddha Kingdom shall not retreat even a single inch.”

“I ask the Heavenly Dao to bear witness and establish this great vow here.”

The Bright Buddha’s voice was gentle, yet his solemn vow rang out like a great bell, spreading in every direction.

Golden light appeared in the heavens. Countless cloud pavilions and celestial terraces radiated brilliant gold, while Buddhist chants descended from the sky.

The Bright Buddha’s body flew onward and entered the Buddha Kingdom, which unfolded like a scroll. He transformed into a Buddha statue seated upon a lotus platform, his body withered and lean, his eyes half closed.

The Buddha Kingdom turned upside down as it surged toward the blood sun.

Suddenly, five-colored lotuses blossomed at the edge of the sky, accompanied by soft cries of resonance from the earth.

Rosy light cascaded downward like threads of silk.

Countless wondrous phenomena filled Heaven and earth, while auspicious blessings streaked across the sky.

The great vow was established.

Heaven and earth responded and bore witness.

That round blood sun was covered by a five-colored lotus.

The aura of heaven and earth abruptly fell still, then returned to normal.

Chu Xingchen’s eyes held an indescribable emotion as he gazed down at the completely vanished formation and the remaining Heavenly Demons, who now had nowhere left to flee.

At the Peak of the Loving Family,

Chen Baiqing hurried into the courtyard. Her eyes swept over Xie Lingyu, the Eldest Senior Sister, Yuan Kong, and the others. Almost instinctively, she asked:

“Where’s Master?”

Cui Hao stood beside Chen Baiqing, equally concerned.

Li Yingling took out a jade communication token from her spatial ring and sent it toward Chen Baiqing with her spiritual power. In a calm voice, she said:

“He went with Lv Xuan and Sister Bai to the Profound Clarity Heavenly Sect to hold the Eighteen Immortal Sects Conference.”
