"Dad, you... please don't hit my brother anymore." Fang Nian looked as if she was about to cry.

Seeing her expression, the three ungrateful wretches, who had initially been frightened by Fang Zhiyi's sudden outburst, suddenly found their courage again.

"Sister, don't beg him! Even if he is our dad, he can't just raise his hand and hit people!" Fang Yunyi was the first to speak up.

Fang Yuran felt a chill run down her spine. Was this man in front of her really her biological father? How could that be!

Seeing her guarded expression, Sun Lei sneered. "If you want to stay without money, then you'll be responsible for serving me well from now on. Then hurry up and get out there to find a job. I don't care if you go sell yourself or what, I don't raise freeloaders here!"

Fang Yuran's expression turned awful, but she could only grit her teeth and nod. "Okay."

"Go scrub the toilet first!"

"Brother Fang, is this the guy who abducted your daughter?" one of the bald men turned his head and asked.

Fang Yuran looked over in disbelief. Fang Zhiyi walked in last. He took one look at his daughter, who was wearing an apron and covered in dirt, and then turned to the shirtless Sun Lei on the sofa.

"That's right."

"You... don't spout nonsense! She is my daughter! And she came back on her own!" Sun Lei panicked a little.

"Your daughter? She came back on her own? How come I didn't know my daughter got herself an extra dad? Did you guys know?" Fang Zhiyi asked.

The two bald men laughed. "Damn, human traffickers have all sorts of weird excuses these days. Brother Fang, leave this matter to us and rest assured!"

"I know you, your surname is Fang! What are you going to do..." Before he could finish his sentence, one of the burly men stepped forward and slapped him, dazing him on the spot. What followed was a flurry of punches and kicks.

Fang Yuran stood there, completely stunned, until Fang Zhiyi walked up to her and gently patted her head. "Dad is late. I've let you suffer."

Fang Yuran's eyes instantly welled up with tears. She had thought she would never be able to return to the Fang family.

Fang Zhiyi gave Fang Yuran a somewhat helpless smile and strode over.
