The maiden didn’t move forward. She stood before her Azure Phoenix clansmen,
not holding a sword but cradling an ancient cyan zither in her arms.

Ying Bing’s ears twitched slightly.
As soon as she spoke, a spiritual avatar crashed to the ground—a colossal bird several zhang tall.
Its head was white, its cry resonating from the depths of one’s soul, and every feather seemed woven from dawn’s first light.
