The sound of breaking glass grew louder as a massive, pitch-black claw suddenly thrust through the rift.
A guttural growl echoed as a three-meter-tall wolf emerged, its fur bristling like steel needles, fangs dripping with foul-smelling saliva.
"A m-monster?!" Peng Wei scrambled backward, his earlier romantic pose forgotten as he desperately kicked away.

Luo Xi stared in disbelief but quickly regained her composure. "Everyone, run!"
