Developing Red Scale

Nighttime.

Lin Feng, who was just about to fall asleep, was hit in the head by a small rock.

Looking up slightly, he saw Rosa Linda sitting with her knees hugged in the corner of the tent.

She made a "shh" gesture with her hand, then crooked her finger to signal him to come over.

Lin Feng glanced at the two beast-eared girls sleeping next to him.

The space inside the tent was small, barely fitting four people.

He could easily step on them accidentally.

Rosa Linda sat down on Lin Feng's lap and grumbled unhappily: "Shh! Keep your voice down, you know what's going on..."

Lin Feng smiled meaningfully.

This girl staying up late at night must be up to no good again.

"Can't hold it in?"

"Huh?" Rosa Linda was somewhat surprised. After reacting, her face turned red as she twisted Lin Feng's thigh, "You bastard, are you tired of me already and saying things like that? Back when you were coaxing and deceiving me..."

After a long while, Rosa Linda's face was shockingly red. She gently tugged at Lin Feng's collar and softly said, "Not enough, I want more."

Lin Feng felt her rabbit ears heating up in his hands: "It's been hard on you recently. Let's go out and find a place."

Rosa Linda let out an arrogant huff, acting coy despite her maturity. Her words and actions had a youthful innocence to them.

She took the initiative to grab Lin Feng's hand and eagerly pulled him outside, "I already picked a spot during the day."

Then she pushed Lin Feng into a bush.

After a while, Rosa Linda wiped the sweat from her brow, giving Lin Feng an ambiguous look.

"Satisfied?"

"Yeah, you've got some skill." She looked at Lin Feng longingly, not knowing when the next time would be. "I want to go wash up a bit in the lake, want to join me?"

"Sure!"

Rosa Linda had just taken two steps out of the bushes when she suddenly stopped.

She stared fixedly at a rock about ten meters away, looking at it as if suspecting something was hiding behind it.

"What's wrong?" Lin Feng asked in a low voice. His perception told him there was indeed something hiding behind the rock.

With a thought, the massive boulder was lifted from the ground. Red Scale was left dumbstruck as her hiding spot was exposed.

Rosa Linda's face darkened. She went up and grabbed Red Scale's wing, dragging her over directly.

"Ow ow ow..."

Red Scale gently stroked her wing. She had finally gotten it reattached and didn't want it broken again.

The two looked at each other, then Rosa Linda drew her bone knife and held it against Red Scale's neck matter-of-factly.

"Let's kill her. She saw what she shouldn't have. We can't let her live."

Red Scale: ?!

She was so scared by this that she froze up, immediately raising her hands to surrender.

She didn't understand why this woman who was usually so gentle now seemed like a completely different person.

From her expression to her tone of voice, she was like a devil.

"I didn't do anything bad!" Red Scale raised her hands even higher, full of righteous indignation.

Lin Feng had told her that if she ever got beaten, she should do this and maybe they'd go easier on her.

"Tell the truth. What did you see, you fool, wandering around out here in the middle of the night?"

Red Scale didn't beat around the bush, she confessed everything honestly: "I slept too much during the day and couldn't fall asleep. When I saw you two go out I followed."

Seeing that Rosa Linda still had a dark look on her face, she immediately hid behind Lin Feng to use him as a human shield. "Boss, I was wrong... I won't wander around at night anymore."

Lin Feng swallowed hard.

Rosa Linda would definitely be furious about this. After all, she was only willing to have a secret relationship for now and didn't want it exposed yet.

But he couldn't just kill this silly dragon over it. She may become his beloved mount one day.

"Don't worry. This stupid dragon can barely string words together." Lin Feng gently stroked Rosa Linda's rabbit ears, trying to smooth things over.

Red Scale pouted, seeming a bit dissatisfied. "I'm not stupid..."

Hearing this, Lin Feng immediately rapped her head without mercy.

He was trying to save her and she kept jumping into the fire pit!

"You can't mention what you saw tonight to anyone, otherwise... I'll punish you severely!"

Red Scale blinked at them: "Are you going to press me to the ground and beat me?"

"That's right!" Lin Feng stood stiffly straight.

Red Scale revealed a sly smile, even gloating.

She wasn't scared at all.

But within two seconds her smile was stifled when she glanced at Rosa Linda.

Seeing this, Lin Feng immediately added more threats: "See that? If you dare speak randomly, this rabbit-eared girl will kill you."

Red Scale snuck another peek at Rosa Linda and broke out in a cold sweat.

She nodded honestly.

Even so...

If it really came to blows, Rosa Linda might not necessarily beat Red Scale.

Despite her acting cowardly all day, her level was still 35 after all.

While Rosa Linda was only 25.

Rosa Linda also jabbed Lin Feng in the side with her elbow.

"It's nothing, nothing."

Lin Feng gently pushed Red Scale to send her back first.

He planned to develop her further after finishing up.
