The task from this 【Print Shop】—doesn’t that just reveal it all?

Zhu Yan’s gaze swept furtively across Dragonfly’s back.

This guy would deliver the menu to the 【Print Shop】 first, then have it processed by the staff there. The final destination was likely 【The Feast of Monsters】.

Qi Yinming hadn’t been sleepy anyway.

He swiftly dressed and got out of bed, asking, “Do you know how to feed the main trunk?”

“I just asked,” Zhu Yan replied absently, watching the busy Dragonfly.

In that brief moment, the arched window it had painted on the wall had already transformed—

It was still opaque, but the area that should have been glass now rippled gently like water.

“There’s a password to access the main trunk. We’ll have to use it to get in and dispose of Tu Shan’s body.”

“Alright,” Qi Yinming said. “And after that? Do we come back here?”

For some reason, standing beside Zhu Zeyu always gave him a strange, awkward feeling.

“Let’s come back first, and then we’ll see,” Zhu Yan had to agree.

He couldn’t exactly tell Qi Yinming he planned to go alone to confront the 【Hunter】.

Zhu Yan carefully planted a hook for his departure: “I’ll see how things go and probably meet up with him. You two rest.”

Qi Yinming let out a sigh and adjusted his thin-rimmed glasses.

There it was again—that feeling.

This thrilling, dangerous day, and they had been stuck in the dorm the whole time, never once stepping outside.

It felt like they’d been busy with nothing and ended up contributing nothing—a faint, lingering sense of being extraneous.

“If you find anything, you have to tell us,” Qi Yinming said, hating that feeling. “Don’t ever face danger alone!”

“...Okay,” Zhu Yan replied insincerely. “Don’t worry.”

The dorm fell quiet again. Aside from Zhu Yan, Qi Yinming, and Chen Zhaoxing, who were watching Dragonfly with fascination, everyone else was trying to drift back to sleep.

Twenty minutes later, Dragonfly moved from the new “window” to the door.

It hummed a little tune, using a long wooden broom to sweep the dust off the floor.

“Done! Windows, door, and walls—everything that needed upgrading is upgraded.”

It swiveled its compound eyes to admire its masterpiece: “Oh my, not bad. Real nice!”

Qi Yinming suddenly asked, “Boss, can you upgrade the teleportation array too?”

Dragonfly froze for a moment. “What’s wrong?”

Zhu Yan sensed trouble, but before he could stop it, Qi Yinming blurted out the whole story about the 【Hunter】 being able to come and go freely.

“Oh, that.”

Dragonfly swiveled its compound eyes to glance at Zhu Yan.

Then it waved its insect legs and burst out laughing, its silver legs clattering, its insect body swaying back and forth.

Zhu Yan broke out in a cold sweat.

He quickly scolded, “What’s so funny? I’ll pay you bone gold—just tell me.”

He could bribe it.

But he couldn’t let it expose him!

Dragonfly narrowed its eyes at Zhu Yan and gave a slight buzz of its wings.

“This shop doesn’t get involved in those kinds of disputes,” it said. “I’ve already upgraded the teleportation array, but it can’t stop a 【Hunter】.”

Damn.

The opening wasn’t too bad, but...

Zhu Yan stared intently at Dragonfly.

If its next words were disrespectful, he would indeed foolishly swing that level 13 military saber at it.

Dragonfly seemed to sense Zhu Yan’s mood.

It clicked its silver legs, leisurely circling the small room, its thin voice carrying a hint of malicious glee.

“Something that small? Sure,” it said, scratching its head with a leg. “But I can’t stay here too long... Get your business done quickly.”

Zhu Yan had to dispose of the body.

Qi Yinming exchanged a silent look with him, then finally knocked on the edge of Chen Zhaoxing’s bed.

“Come down and keep watch,” he said. “We’re going out.”

Five minutes later.

Tu Shan’s corpse lay on the dark red, soft steps, and the damp air seemed to grow even heavier with the smell of blood.

“Congratulations to Player Zhu Zeyu and Player Qi Yinming.”

The female voice broadcast chimed in at just the right moment, its tone lifting slightly with a sense of entertainment.
