When the Time Comes

“Want to kill me? Then come on, someone with guts!”

“Who's going first?”

“You? You? Or you?” Su Ze lifted his smile, pointing at a group of contestants who were on high alert.

Despite being severely injured, Su Ze, in the eyes of the crowd, was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered. However, his smile strangely conveyed a sense of terror and extreme danger!

Just like a gravely injured tiger, even if it was on the brink of death and surrounded by wolves, its roar would still shake the heavens and make the wolves tremble with fear!

“Not a single one with guts,” Su Ze said, shouldering the [Ghost Slaughter Infant], tilting his head, and smiling dangerously, almost maniacally.

His smile gradually faded, and with a blank expression, he charged into the crowd!

He no longer had any reservations, fighting with full force!

The battlefield became even more chaotic.

Red muscle tissue oozed blood, and the skin peeling off Su Ze's face made him look terrifying!

“Crazy!” someone cursed.

Su Ze was now like a mad beast, disregarding all consequences, his blank expression charging into the crowd, his sharp claws and fangs ripping apart his enemies with wild abandon!

Blood rained down, space shattered, and bodies continuously fell from the sky.

“Join forces! Kill him first!” someone shouted.

The initially chaotic battlefield began to unite, all turning their weapons towards Su Ze!

But Su Ze was like a demon god. The battlefield he was in had more than three contestants, making those who joined forces hesitate. They dared not use their full strength, fearing friendly fire!

Su Ze, however, had no such concerns. He only needed to take as many people with him as possible before his death. That way, it wasn't a bad deal!

A straight sword slashed diagonally from the sky, suddenly cutting through the laws' restrictions that surrounded Su Ze and three other contestants!

Su Ze's pupils contracted, and he suddenly turned his head to see Mo Ziang, with huge black wings, flapping his wings and appearing by his side!

“Go!”

Mo Ziang grabbed his shoulder and rushed towards the broken gap!

But even so, the laws' restrictions almost instantly resealed!

The contestants hadn't expected Mo Ziang to return!

In a surprise move, he tore apart their barrier!

When Mo Ziang returned, they naturally focused on reinforcing the barrier. They stabilized it!

“Heaven-Turning Seal!”

A dazzling palm pressed down from the sky, smashing the outer restrictions to pieces!

But the inner laws' restrictions remained unbreakable!

No matter how Su Ze and Mo Ziang attacked, they only broke a few restrictions. Meanwhile, the contestants closed in!

Mo Ziang and Su Ze took a deep breath, both facing the contestants. It was a definite death scenario!

Outside the battlefield, Xuanyuan Jin's eyes went blank for a moment before he turned and ran!

But it wasn’t Mo Ziang’s head. Mo Ziang lowered his head, looking at the sneak attacker’s head rolling on the ground, staring wide-eyed at him in disbelief!

After prolonged battle and mental exhaustion, he gradually regained his senses.

A massive flash of sword light swept across the sky!

The magnificent laws' restrictions shattered instantly!

The contestants were shocked. This was their collective effort to set up the restrictions, yet it was destroyed in just one slash!

Su Ze, whose face was numb from killing, lifted a delighted smile!

He rushed over, grabbed Mo Ziang, and fled at the fastest speed possible!

Without the restrictions, it was difficult for the crowd to catch up with Su Ze!

Just as the contestants wanted to chase and intercept them,

“Collapse.”

With a single command, the space where the contestants were instantly turned upside down! The space shattered like an iPhone dropped from the sixteenth floor!

In an instant, more than half of the contestants were killed!

Their torn bodies fell to the ground.

A young man carrying a long sword entered the battlefield, his black coat flapping in the wind.

Su Ze and Mo Ziang were slightly shocked as they turned back. They recognized him—it was the young man they met for the first time in the tower!

They couldn’t understand why this young man would save them.

Soon, they got their answer.

“I’m Shi Yu. And just like Li Wentong, I owe Huaxia. Now, it’s all repaid!”

As his words fell, the young man named Shi Yu slowly brought down his long sword.

The sky collapsed, the earth split!

Even the god-built buildings crumbled!

A massive wave of law energy destroyed everything within several thousand meters! Shi Yu greedily absorbed the laws from the contestants.

A few seconds later, Shi Yu disappeared, leaving only a massive crater in the battlefield, as if a nuclear bomb had exploded!

“Amazing!” Xuanyuan Jin exclaimed in shock from a distance.

“What… does he owe us?” Su Ze was a bit stunned.

But he couldn’t help feeling a wave of fear. Just two moves, and he had wiped out all the contestants and even destroyed the god’s structure!

The priority now wasn’t to marvel. Xuanyuan Jin ran over, now having only one arm, supporting the one-armed Mo Ziang, while Su Ze supported him from the other side.

The three of them helped each other to a ruined house.

Su Ze took out a medical kit from a long case to dress the wounds of the two.

The wind howled on the roof, and they knew that contestants were flying by.

They made every effort not to make a sound, not uttering a single word, and keeping their breath to a minimum.

They spent three days like this!

For three days, they didn’t say a word, didn’t move a muscle, only able to confirm each other’s survival by sensing each other’s breathing!

Even after eating the field rations from Su Ze’s long case, it didn’t help much. That bit of energy was far too little for them.
