No Cuckold Behavior Allowed

The strong shall always be challenged by the strong.

This was the most popular slogan in the Pure Love forum back when Lin Yu served as its moderator.

At the time, the forum members believed that the most satisfying way to punish a homewrecker was to use their own tactics against them.

Now, such an opportunity lay right before Lin Yu, yet he couldn’t bring himself to act on it.

Damn it.

If he really went through with it, wouldn’t he end up betraying Sister Zhuzi in the process?

How infuriating!

Don’t pull off some twisted two-for-one deal in such a messed-up situation!

And besides...

Lin Yu glanced across the dining table at Luo Xiaoxiao, who seemed to be in high spirits. Though he suspected she had ulterior motives for getting close to him, using her purely as a tool to spite someone else didn’t sit right with him.

Wouldn’t that make him a scumbag?

But still...

Lin Yu scratched his head in frustration.

With such a golden opportunity right in front of him—to thoroughly humiliate that damned homewrecker—wouldn’t it be a waste to just let it slip away?

After much deliberation, Lin Yu turned his gaze to Luo Xiaoxiao and asked:

"Does Zeng Qiang like you a lot?"

Luo Xiaoxiao tapped her cheek with a finger, her tone slightly awkward as she replied:

"Sort of."

"He keeps finding excuses to give me gifts and ask me out."

"But I always turn him down."

"Both the gifts and the invitations."

"I’ve told him I don’t like men like him."

"Whenever I say that, he just laughs it off and says it’s fine, that he likes me anyway."

At this point, she stole a glance at Lin Yu and quietly added her own feelings about Zeng Qiang.

"It’s pretty annoying."

Lin Yu stroked his chin and nodded thoughtfully.

If things were really as Luo Xiaoxiao described, then Zeng Qiang might genuinely have feelings for her.

At this thought, Lin Yu suddenly remembered a crucial detail and looked up at her to ask:

"Did he date anyone else while pursuing you?"

If Zeng Qiang had been surrounded by women the entire time he was chasing Luo Xiaoxiao, then she was likely just another high-quality target in his eyes.

But if he’d stayed single for nearly a year just for her, this wasn’t just attraction—it was practically simping!

Luo Xiaoxiao thought for a moment before shaking her head.

"I never paid much attention to him, so I don’t know."

"But probably not."

"If he really got a girlfriend, my roommate would’ve told me."

"She loves gossip."

Lin Yu frowned and nodded, still wrestling with his conscience.

It seemed Zeng Qiang’s feelings for Luo Xiaoxiao were anything but ordinary.

Using her to mess with him would undoubtedly be an effective way to get revenge.

But...

Should he really act in a way that aligned with this body’s nature?

Other things were manageable, but betraying Sister Zhuzi...

...

No!

Absolutely not!

Lin Yu snapped out of his thoughts.

Damn it.

He’d almost fallen into darkness.

Betraying someone he loved was no different from being betrayed by them—both were acts of treachery in a relationship.

How could he, the moderator of the Pure Love forum, do something like this?

Even if it was to crush an enemy, he couldn’t compromise his principles!

"Forget it."

Lin Yu decided to abandon the idea of fighting fire with fire.

There were plenty of other ways to deal with Zeng Qiang—he’d just have to think of something else.

Having made his choice, Lin Yu no longer wanted to engage with Luo Xiaoxiao. He picked up his tray and swiftly moved to another seat.

Left behind, Luo Xiaoxiao looked stunned. She hesitated for a long moment before cautiously approaching Lin Yu’s new spot. Watching him shovel food into his mouth, she asked softly:

"Did I say something wrong? Did I upset you?"

Lin Yu glanced up at her pitiful expression and shook his head.

"Not at all."

"I just had something to ask you."

"Now that I’ve asked, we’re done."

"Go eat your meal."

Luo Xiaoxiao nodded but didn’t leave, lingering as if she had more to say.

Lin Yu ignored her and kept eating.

After a pause, she tentatively asked:

"Can I sit here and eat with you?"

Lin Yu looked up in surprise and replied firmly:

"Of course not!"

Her head drooping, Luo Xiaoxiao turned to leave dejectedly. But then, as if remembering something, she spun back around and said:

"I’ll talk to Zeng Qiang and make sure he stops bothering you."

"Don’t."

Lin Yu quickly waved his hands in refusal.

"Stay out of it."

"This is between him and me now."

Luo Xiaoxiao blinked her round eyes in confusion but didn’t press further. With a quiet "Oh," she walked away.

Alone again, Lin Yu stuffed more food into his mouth while pondering his next steps.

He wasn’t worried about Zeng Qiang’s potential retaliation. Though the guy had connections in S City, Lin Yu wasn’t exactly powerless either.

With the fourth female lead—a prestigious university president—backing him, he wouldn’t be easily bullied.

Not to mention he still had Qing Mo and Zhao She on his side.

Though they were a bit far away...

Wait!

Hadn’t Qing Mo come to S City with him?

Was she still here?

Lin Yu pulled out his phone and sent her a message.

Dragon Pride: Where are you right now?

Qing Mo: S City.

Qing Mo: Need something?

Whenever Lin Yu initiated contact, Qing Mo always replied almost instantly. He suspected she’d set him as a priority contact, giving his messages special notifications.

Otherwise, there was no way a busy billionaire like her would always have her phone on hand, ready to reply at a moment’s notice.

Dragon Pride: Nah.

Dragon Pride: Just checking.

Dragon Pride: nose-picking emoji

Dragon Pride: When are you leaving?

Qing Mo: Four days.

Qing Mo: Want to grab a meal for your birthday?

Dragon Pride: Whose birthday?

Lin Yu knew his birthday was in three days, but he’d never mentioned it to Qing Mo. Though for someone like her, finding out wouldn’t be hard...

Qing Mo: Yours.

Lin Yu stared at his phone for a moment. As friends who’d been through life-and-death situations, sharing a birthday meal didn’t seem like a big deal.

But it couldn’t be on the actual day—Sister Zhuzi was coming then. The timing had to be different.

Dragon Pride: How about the day after tomorrow?

Dragon Pride: Noon.

Dragon Pride: I’ve got plans on my birthday.

Qing Mo: Sure.

Dragon Pride: Where?

Qing Mo: You pick. I’ll come find you.

Dragon Pride: Got it.

Putting his phone away, Lin Yu resumed eating.

Originally, he’d been wondering whether Zeng Qiang’s revenge or Sister Zhuzi’s visit would come first. Now, Qing Mo had been added to the mix.

Who would show up first?
