They both tacitly agreed not to talk about it. At midnight, Su Yang carried Han So-yeon to bed.

The next day at noon, he whipped up a lunch for the two of them. After they ate, he dragged his suitcase out, ready to leave.

Han So-yeon looked at him. “I’ll walk you out.”

“No need. It’s not like I’m not coming back. Besides, I still have to go meet a friend before heading to the airport.”

Han So-yeon bit her lip. “Then... how long will you be gone this time?”

“Not sure. At least a week, at most maybe ten days or so.”

“Will you come back to Shanghai after?”

“Definitely. I bought a place, remember? I’ve gotta come back to inspect the new place.”

“Oh, right. Then... after you’re back, will you still come see me?”

The car slowly pulled away from Tianhe Dongfang Residences and arrived at the entrance of Tangcheng Yipin half an hour later.

Su Yang pulled his suitcase to the guard booth, signed in, and walked into the complex.

He quickly took the elevator up to Qin Su’s door and rang the bell.

About ten seconds later, the door swung open. Qin Su stood there in a white, form-fitting cropped tee and matching white shorts, smiling at him. “That was fast. Where were you coming from?”

“Whoa? That’s a pretty skimpy outfit you’ve got on?”

“I just wear whatever at home.” Qin Su smiled lightly.

“Yeah, but that look is... a little hard to resist.” Su Yang said in a teasing tone.

“Ha, really? This is just casual wear. I could totally wear this out on the street.” Qin Su glanced down at herself. “Don’t just stand there, come in.”

“Okay.”

Su Yang stepped into the apartment, set his luggage by the entrance, and followed Qin Su into the living room.

“Did you end up buying a place?”

“Yeah, right next door to you.”

“Seaview One?”

Su Yang shook his head. “No, Seaview One didn’t have any new units left. I got that Riverside Mansion place.”

“Oh, right—that was one of the ones I recommended for you. The new Phase 3 has the brand-new units you wanted.” Qin Su grinned.

“Yeah, I don’t like buying resale.” Su Yang said, heading toward the bar area.

Qin Su quickly followed. “I forgot to make you coffee.”

“No worries, I’ll handle it. What would you like?”

“Still an iced Americano, please.”

“Sure. What do you want for dinner?” Su Yang asked as he walked behind the bar.

“Hmm... up to you. I’m good with anything.”

“How about we don’t eat out? Otherwise I’ll have to lug my suitcase around, and it’s a bit of a hassle.”

“Not eating out?” Qin Su’s eyes sparkled, and she let out a soft laugh. “I suppose that’s fine, but if we eat here, you’ll have to do the cooking. I’m pretty hopeless in the kitchen.”

“I’ll do the cooking. I actually like it. It’s no trouble for me.”

“But we agreed I’d treat you. Now I’m not even treating you, and I’m making you cook too.”

“Or we could just order delivery?”

About ten minutes later, they moved over to the living room sofa and sat down to chat.

It was two in the afternoon, so there was plenty of time still.

They traded idle chatter, but with Qin Su dressed so cool and sexy like that, Su Yang could hardly focus on the conversation.

Mainly because he was still a bit rattled from spending the last couple of days with Han So-yeon. Seeing Qin Su, who was even prettier and just as well-built, sitting here in front of him had his mind wandering.

"Alright, so when you get back, will you be heading to Magic City or Sea City?"
