You really know how to flirt

"What do you mean I'm familiar with it? Like I'm always going out or something."

"Are you not?" Qin Su asked with a smile.

Hong Ran rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine. Let me think... How about a business KTV?"

"There you go again, saying you don't go out often, and now you're bringing up business KTV."

"I was just thinking we should entertain Su Su, that's why I suggested it. But it's up to you."

"Business KTV always feels like a place for doing business—too formal and commercial. I'm not really into it."

"That's true, but the service is better, and it's more high-end."

"Why don't we ask Su Yang? See what he thinks."

"Sounds good." Hong Ran lowered the half-open window and called out to Su Yang, who was puffing on a cigarette not far away. "Su Su, how about business KTV?"

"Business KTV? I'd say let's just go to a regular KTV instead. Business KTV doesn't really fit the occasion today."

"Alright then, we'll do what you say."

"This guy's actually passing on it." Hong Ran turned around with a laugh.

"I'm not a fan of business KTV either. Even though it's more high-end, I prefer regular KTV for singing—it's livelier and more down-to-earth."

"Fine, regular KTV it is. You look up a place..."

Two minutes later, Su Yang finished his cigarette and got back into the car. He fastened his seatbelt as he asked, "So? All set?"

"Done. I sent you the address."

"Good." Su Yang checked the location Qin Su had sent him. It wasn't far from the Bund, only about two kilometers away.

He connected to the navigation and forwarded the location to Chen Yuxi. "Yuxi, this is where we'll be singing later."

"Got it. How many of you are there?"

"Three for now. Later, two friends of our friends will join, plus you and Chuxia, so seven in total."

"Okay, I'm going to change clothes and put on makeup now~"

"Alright, where are you now?"

"I'm at Chuxia's place."

"Okay, take your time."

"Will do. See you later, Brother Su Yang~"

"See you later."

He exited the chat, put away his phone, and started the car, heading toward the KTV.

At night, the magic city always had a glamorous, intoxicating feel. Whether it was a holiday or not, the streets were crowded with people, brilliantly lit, surrounded by towering skyscrapers.

When it came to nightscapes, few cities in the world could compete with this.

The Ferrari Purosangue wove through traffic. Near the Bund, luxury cars were everywhere.

A Bugatti Chiron, a LaFerrari, and a McLaren P1—three top-tier supercars—roared past Su Yang's left.

Before long, he spotted a rare Ford GT and a Chevrolet Corvette C8 parked by the roadside, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.

But by now, Su Yang was used to seeing supercars. He didn't pay much attention and soon drove up to a KTV called Wave.

After parking, the three of them got out and walked toward the KTV entrance.

The building was a unique, standalone structure with a glass facade, about fifteen meters tall. Inside, it had three floors, though the exact area was unclear. Overall, it looked like a polygonal glass box, almost like a small art center.

"Oh, this place is pretty unique." Su Yang looked up and commented.

Hong Ran smiled and explained, "I've been here with friends many times. I personally think it's one of the best regular KTVs in the magic city right now, both in terms of sound quality and service."

"Is that so? It looks decent. Let's head in."

"Okay."

The three of them walked into the KTV together. After passing through the wide glass doors, they went a few meters inside and were greeted by a corridor lined with screens, giving it a very techy vibe.

The corridor was playing flashy tunnel effects, accompanied by immersive surround sound. Walking through it felt like traveling through a wormhole.

"KTVs are this impressive now?" Su Yang glanced around and chuckled.

"A bit gimmicky, but at least it's not off-putting." Hong Ran replied as she led the way.

They quickly passed through the corridor and pushed open a large door, revealing the KTV's reception area.

The hall was well-decorated. Though the lighting was dim and made it hard to see the full layout, it still gave off an upscale feel.

Just then, a waiter in a vest and tie walked up to them with a polite smile. "Good evening, sir and ladies! Welcome to Wave!"

"Hello. I made a reservation on TuanTuan earlier. Please help me check it in." Qin Su stepped forward and said.

"Of course, miss. Please follow me." The young waiter cheerfully led Qin Su and Hong Ran to the front desk.

Su Yang strolled along behind them.

It had been a while since he'd last been to a KTV, especially a more innovative one like this.

The ones he used to go to were pretty standard. These days, he sang karaoke at villas instead.

Whether it was Senhai Manor, Jingyutai, or Tomato House, they all had karaoke equipment. There was really no need to go to a KTV.

Still, coming out once in a while wasn't bad. Places like this usually had a lot of pretty girls around.

Right now, for instance, just a few meters away, three girls with long legs were sitting in the lounge area, sneaking glances at him.

Su Yang had noticed them the moment he walked in. They were wearing heavy makeup, which made them look decent enough, but it was hard to tell them apart—they all seemed to come from the same mold, with similar faces.

Still, with their ultra-short skirts, body-hugging dresses, and black stockings, they definitely had an appealing look.

A few minutes later, the waiter led them to the left of the front desk.

"Sir and ladies, your room is on the second floor. Please follow me."

"Okay." The three followed the waiter to the spiral staircase at the far left of the lobby. After some twisting and turning on the second floor, they arrived at room number 808.

The waiter opened the door and stepped aside, letting the three enter first.

It was a medium-to-large room, big enough for about twelve people.

Inside, though, the room didn't have the same flair as the lobby or the corridor. It looked more or less like any pricier regular KTV.

There was a large black leather sofa, two tables, a high-definition big screen, and a bar setup. The bar also had its own attached restroom.

The waiter followed them in, turned on the equipment, and then walked up to Qin Su. "Miss, would you like your drinks served now?"

"Yes, please go ahead."

"Alright, please wait a moment." The waiter said, turning and leaving the room.

Su Yang went over to the sofa, sat down, and pulled out his phone to message Chen Yuxi.

"Yuxi, the room number is 808, second floor."

Chen Yuxi replied instantly: "Got it!"

"Are you done with your makeup?"

"Almost there."

"Taking this long just for makeup?"

"Girls take a while with makeup."

"Alright, take your time. Let me know when you're on your way."

"Sure~"

Meanwhile, Hong Ran and Qin Su were also messaging their friends.

Su Yang stood up and stretched his neck. "Are you two good singers?"

Hong Ran laughed. "I can only say I don't go off-key."

Qin Su looked a bit embarrassed. "I... I'm tone-deaf."

"What? You're tone-deaf?" Su Yang looked at Qin Su, finding it hard to believe.

"Yeah, I've been like this since I was little. My friends used to make fun of me for it."

"Then that just means you're too pretty."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Qin Su was taken aback and looked at Su Yang.

"Girls who are good-looking usually aren't great singers," Su Yang said jokingly.

"R...really?" Qin Su felt a little flattered, secretly pleased.

Hong Ran couldn't help but laugh. "Su Su, you really know how to flirt."

"No, that's not flirting. I'm just stating the facts."

"Look, you've made Susu blush."

Qin Su touched her face. "Am I blushing?"

Su Yang shook his head with a smile, pulled out his phone, and scanned the QR code on the screen to change the subject.

"Pick a song, you guys. Let's start singing."

"Are you a good singer?" Hong Ran asked.

"Not bad, I guess."

"Not bad? You're being modest again. People who say that usually sing really well."
