Damn, who is this again

Soon after finishing their meal, the group returned to the living room to brew tea and chat.

Before they knew it, it was already 11 p.m.

Considering they had to wake up early the next day, everyone gradually retreated to their rooms to rest.

Song Anquan arranged a room for Su Yang on the second floor, near the front courtyard, where he settled in for the night.

The night passed uneventfully.

By 8 a.m. the next morning, the rising sun cast its glow outside, accompanied by the chirping of birds and the crowing of roosters downstairs.

At that moment, five cars of varying colors drove into the entrance of Dahe Village.

Leading the pack was a white Porsche Macan, followed by a Passat, a Lavida, an Axela, and a Toyota RAV4.

The convoy advanced grandly toward Song Anquan’s house.

The people in these cars were the ones who had come to help Song Anquan fetch the bride in Hangzhou—some were friends of Song Haihua, others were friends of friends, and a few were distant relatives.

However, not all of them knew each other; they had simply arrived at the same time by coincidence.

The driver of the lead Porsche Macan was a young woman wearing sunglasses.

She appeared to be in her early twenties, with deep brown, voluminous short hair, smooth fair skin, a high nose bridge, and a flawless side profile.

Soon, the five cars arrived one after another at the open space in front of Song Anquan’s house, each finding a parking spot.

But as soon as they pulled up, they noticed a black Rolls-Royce Cullinan parked beside a white Accord.

A passenger in the Axela immediately exclaimed to the driver, "Holy crap, look! Is that a Cullinan?!"

"Looks like it!"

"No way, whose car is this? That’s insane!"

"Probably the lead car for the wedding. Haihua’s got some connections—he actually knows someone who drives a Cullinan?"

The man in the passenger seat laughed. "Yeah right. More like one of Anquan’s friends rented it to show off."

The driver, maneuvering the wheel to reverse, nodded. "Yeah, must be. This thing’s crazy expensive."

"No kidding, it’s like seven or eight million."

......

Soon, all five cars were parked, and the passengers stepped out, pulling out their phones to take pictures and discuss the Cullinan.

"Never thought I’d see something like this in a village—even in the city, it’s rare."

"Obviously rented just to flex as the lead car. No big deal. Renting this for two days probably costs like 20 grand max."

"Exactly. Anyone could afford to rent it for a couple of days."

The group buzzed with speculation, but the Porsche Macan’s owner remained silent.

She removed her sunglasses, stepped forward, and examined the car closely before cutting off the chatter. "This isn’t rented."

"Huh? Not rented? How do you know? Wait, you’re the one who drove the Porsche up front, right?"

The woman nodded. "Yeah."

"So you’re also a friend of Old Song’s family? What makes you say it’s not rented?"

She smiled faintly. "If they just wanted a lead car for show, they’d rent a standard Cullinan. That would be impressive enough. But this isn’t a standard model—it’s a Mansory Cullinan, way rarer and several million more expensive."

"What?! Mansory Cullinan? Several million more? What are you talking about? This just looks like a regular Cullinan to me."

Realizing it was pointless to explain, she shook her head with a wry smile. "Never mind. No point discussing it with you." Without waiting for a response, she turned and walked toward the house.

"Pfft, acting like she knows everything. She’s just driving an entry-level Porsche—who does she think she is?"

"Yeah, it’s just a Cullinan. What’s this ‘Mansory’ nonsense? Trying too hard."

Only after she was out of earshot did the men mutter their complaints under their breath.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Su Yang was awakened by the noisy chatter in the courtyard below.

He stretched, sat up, and took a couple of minutes to gather himself before putting on his pants and getting out of bed.

Hearing the commotion outside, he walked to the window, pulled back the curtains, and leaned on the sill to look down.

Several people were gathered in front of his car, taking photos.

He smirked but didn’t bother intervening. Out of habit, he glanced around the room for a bathroom to freshen up.

Then it hit him—he wasn’t at home. Rubbing his head with a quiet chuckle, he pushed open the door and headed out.

Downstairs, everyone else was already awake.

Some were busy in the backyard, while others sat on the sofa, sipping tea and chatting.

But the moment Su Yang descended, his eyes locked with a striking gaze.

The brief exchange lasted only a second before the woman looked away.

Su Yang blinked. Damn, who’s this? Even prettier than the girl from yesterday. Solid 85 at least.

Keeping his expression neutral, he walked to the water dispenser, grabbed a disposable cup, and took a sip.

—System, quick scan.

—Didn’t expect to find a beauty like this in a tiny village. This trip was worth it.

As he mused, Song Haihua walked in from the backyard and spotted Su Yang by the TV, drinking water.

With a warm smile, he called out, "Xiao Su, you’re up? Could’ve slept in a bit more."

Su Yang turned and grinned. "Morning, Uncle Song. Couldn’t sleep anymore. Didn’t feel right lazing around while everyone’s already busy."

"Ah, no need to stand on ceremony. You and Anquan are close—treat this place like your own home. Make yourself comfortable."

"Will do, Uncle Song."

Song Haihua nodded cheerfully. "Oh, the bathroom’s in the backyard. There are disposable toothbrushes and stuff in there if you need to freshen up."

Su Yang smiled. "Got it. Thanks, Uncle Song."

"No need for thanks! Go on, then. Breakfast will be ready soon."

"Sure thing."

As Su Yang turned toward the backyard, Song Haihua hurried over to Jiang Mengyun, who was sitting near the door.

"Ah? Xiao Yun, when did you get here?"

"Just arrived, Uncle."

Song Haihua clasped his hands gratefully. "I really appreciate you making the trip all the way from Haicheng."

Jiang Mengyun shrugged casually. "No trouble at all. It’s the least I could do."

"Good, good. By the way, where are your parents?"

"They’re tied up with something. Probably won’t make it till tomorrow."

"Ah, got it. As long as they’re here for the banquet. Have you eaten breakfast yet?"

Jiang Mengyun shook her head. "Not yet."

"That works out perfectly. You can sit and rest for a while. Your aunt and the others are cooking in the backyard. Or if you’d like, you could go over and say hello to them."

Jiang Mengyun smiled slightly. "Sure, I’ll go take a look."

"Alright, sounds good~"
