Car Replacement

A few dozen seconds later, Yaya sent a location pin.

Su Yang opened it and saw the address was called Guihe Mansion, a fairly upscale high-rise residential complex in Haicheng.

It was about seven kilometers from Senhai Manor.

Su Yang smiled slightly, got up to use the bathroom, and a few minutes later stood by the entrance.

He opened the watch case, took out his Audemars Piguet, and put it on. Then he stared thoughtfully at the seven car keys in another box.

"Which one should I drive today?"

As he looked at the keys, a sudden idea popped into his head.

—System? I have a question.

[Go ahead, Host.]

—For the cars you’ve rewarded me, if I don’t like one, can I exchange it for another?

After a two-second pause, the system replied.

[Yes. Each car can be exchanged once every six months, but only for a vehicle of equal or lesser value. Note: Cars purchased by the Host independently are not eligible for exchange.]

—No way, seriously?

[Affirmative.]

Su Yang’s lips curled into a smirk. He’d only asked casually but hadn’t expected it to actually be possible.

He glanced at the six keys in the box (excluding the Audi) and pondered.

"Might as well swap out the Aston Martin. I’ve never really liked it much, and it’s the one I drive the least anyway."

"Since I get two exchanges a year, why not try one now?"

After a brief moment of deliberation, he called out in his mind.

—System, I’d like to exchange a car now.

[Please select the vehicle you wish to exchange, Host.]

—Aston Martin DBX707.

[Exchange request logged. Please wait...]

......

Thirty seconds later, the system’s voice returned.

[Ding. The Aston Martin DBX707 has been entered into the exchange system. Please select a replacement vehicle with a value of 3.5 million RMB or less.]

Without hesitation, Su Yang answered.

—Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition.

[Scanning. Please wait...]

[2024 Bentley Bentayga S, 4.0T V8, Black Edition, valued at 3.5 million RMB. Exchange conditions met. Confirm replacement?]

—Confirm.

Another thirty seconds of silence passed before the system responded.

[Ding! Vehicle exchange successful. Host may now drive this vehicle at any time.]

Su Yang grinned as he looked at the keys on the shelf—the Aston Martin key had transformed into a Bentley key.

—Damn, System, you’re efficient! Props!

He picked up the key and examined it. "Not bad. I was considering the X5M, but that’s half the value—not worth it. This is perfect."

After a brief internal debate, he grabbed the Bentley and Rolls-Royce keys, stuffed them into his bag, and headed out.

Soon, he took the elevator down to the underground garage and strode toward his four adjacent parking spots.

The Aston Martin that had been parked between the 911 Turbo S and the S680 was now replaced by a sleek black Bentley Bentayga.

Even the license plate from the Martin had been transferred to the Bentayga.

—Nice attention to detail, System.

"This car’s way cooler—feels a whole tier above the DBX!"

Su Yang nodded in satisfaction, circling the vehicle for a full inspection before hopping inside to test the feel. After a few minutes, he locked the car and stepped out.

"Tonight, I’ll take the Cullinan out first. You’re next."

With a light chuckle, he turned and walked toward the other two parking spots nearby.

Soon, Su Yang was cruising down the road in the Cullinan. It was 5:30 PM—peak rush hour—and traffic was crawling.

Drivers in adjacent lanes rolled down their windows, pulling out their phones to snap pictures of the luxury SUV.

A standard Cullinan retails for 7 million RMB, the Black Badge version for 8 million, but Su Yang’s Mansory Black Warrior edition cost a staggering 11 million.

Essentially a moving "villa," it was impossible for car enthusiasts to resist capturing it on camera. For most people, this was a car they’d never own in their lifetime.

Su Yang kept his eyes on the road, unfazed by the attention.

At a red light, an orange Tank 300 pulled up beside him.

Su Yang glanced over and saw a short-haired beauty in the driver’s seat. She was already staring at him.

"Hey, handsome! Sick ride—is that a Cullinan Black Badge?"

Su Yang smiled. "Close. Mansory custom edition."

"Oh? I’m not too familiar. What’s the price tag?"

"Just over ten."

"Ten… million?!"

Her eyes widened as she gave a thumbs-up. "Damn, that’s impressive. Looks killer!"

"Thanks. Light’s green."

With a press of the accelerator, the Cullinan surged ahead first.

"Even at a red light, the luxury car gets attention. Can’t complain."

......

About forty minutes later, Su Yang finally reached the gates of Guihe Mansion.

He pulled over, took out his phone, and dialed Yaya’s WeChat number.

After two rings, she picked up.

"Hey, Su Yang, you here?"

"Yeah, at your gate. You on your way out?"

"Almost! One minute tops, hang on."

"Got it."

Soon, a tall, stunning blonde with a killer figure emerged from the complex.

She wore a simple black fitted tank top, revealing her toned midriff, and carried a tan Hermès Birkin bag.

Her outfit was completed by a matching black bodycon mini skirt, showcasing her endless legs, and low-top black-and-white Converse sneakers.

The look was effortlessly chic yet undeniably sexy.

Su Yang gave a quick once-over before tapping the horn.

Beep beep!

Hearing the sound, Yaya tilted her head, spotted him, and hurried over.

Leaning toward the passenger window, Su Yang grinned. "Long time no see!"

"Su Yang, it’s been ages! Is this your car?"

"Yep. Why?"

"A Rolls-Royce Cullinan? Had no idea you were loaded."

He chuckled. "Not that loaded. Get in already!"

"Oh! Right." She opened the door and slid into the seat.

"Been a while, but I swear you’ve gotten even hotter?!" Yaya teased, shooting him a playful look.

"Oh? You can tell?" Su Yang joked back.

"Hello, blue eyes here—I see more than most."

Su Yang shook his head with a laugh. "Yeah, yeah. Let’s get going."

As the car rolled forward, he asked, "When did you get to Haicheng?"

"About a week ago. You never replied to my texts."

"Busy, sorry. But a promise is a promise—what do you feel like eating?"

"Anything’s fine~" She flashed a bright smile.

Su Yang sighed. "‘Anything’ again? How about Japanese?"

"Perfect! I haven’t had it in forever~"

"Cool. I’ll check for a spot on the app."
