Whose side should we go to first

Looking at the information displayed on the virtual screen before him, Su Yang smiled inwardly.

—Hmm, not bad. The favorability levels have all increased to some degree. Damn, my balance is almost 200 million now?

—One, ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, ten million... billion. Holy crap.

—Last time I checked, it was just over 70 million, and now it’s almost two small targets in just a few days. This system is seriously OP!

—This kind of carefree, financially free life is truly amazing.

Su Yang reclined leisurely on the lounge chair, his expression relaxed.

[Ding! Detecting the host’s current state of extreme relaxation. Reward: 600,000.]

Just as Su Yang exhaled a cloud of smoke, his phone buzzed with a WeChat notification.

He opened it and saw a message from Meng Wenzhou:

"Old Su, I’ve picked out three villas for you like you asked. I’ll send you the pictures later so you can see which one you like. If you’re free tomorrow, come find me, and we’ll go check them out in person."

Su Yang thought for a moment before replying: "Thanks, man. But I’ve got something else going on tomorrow. Maybe the day after or the one after that?"

Meng Wenzhou: "No worries. I’m pretty much free anytime. Just hit me up when you’re available, and we’ll go take a look."

Su Yang: "Sounds good. I won’t bother with the formalities—just let me know if you ever need anything from me."

Meng Wenzhou: "Haha, you’re still the same. You know I won’t hold back if I need something from you."

Su Yang: "[Dog emoji]"

Meng Wenzhou: "Oh, one more thing."

Su Yang: "Go ahead."

Meng Wenzhou: "My sister’s coming back from abroad in a few days. I’m planning a welcome dinner for her, so make sure you come. I’ll let you know once I finalize the location."

Su Yang thought to himself, Coming back… his biological sister?

Su Yang: "Your real sister? What’s her name again?"

Meng Wenzhou: "Yeah, Meng Qianyu. My actual little sister. She’s back for good this time, so as her big brother, I’ve gotta give her a proper welcome, right?"

Su Yang: "Absolutely. But aren’t you doing a family dinner?"

Meng Wenzhou: "Oh, we’ll definitely have one. I’m planning to hold the welcome dinner the day after. Family’s family, but I’ve got plenty of friends who’d want to celebrate too."

Su Yang: "Got it. Count me in."

Meng Wenzhou: "Cool. Hit me up when you’re free."

Su Yang: "Aight."

Closing his phone, Su Yang mused, Old Meng’s a real one. Even though checking out villas isn’t a big deal for him, he still got it done fast. Solid guy.

Meng Qianyu… With a name like that, she’s gotta be a knockout.

Just then, his phone buzzed again.

This time, it was a message from Pan Ning:

"What are you up to?"

Su Yang: "Lazing around at home."

Pan Ning: "Free but didn’t think to text me?"

Su Yang scratched his head, thinking, Shit, how do I reply to this?

After a moment’s hesitation, he typed: "Nah, I’ve been busy the past couple days. Just got free."

Pan Ning: "Busy with what?"

Su Yang: "I just moved, remember? I promised to invite a couple friends over for dinner. Just finished hosting them today."

Pan Ning: "[Eye roll] Guys or girls?"

Su Yang didn’t hide it: "Two girls."

Pan Ning didn’t press further and changed the subject: "[Eye roll] Free tomorrow?"

Su Yang: "Actually, yeah. A high school buddy’s dad is sick, so I’m heading to Yangcheng."

Pan Ning: "Fine. Text me when you’re back."

Su Yang: "[Smirk] You got it."

Closing his phone again, Su Yang took a deep breath and stood up.

At that moment, the bathroom door opened, and Zhao Mengrou and Gu Xiaoman stepped out, both blushing slightly as they wore the pajamas Su Yang had given them.

Su Yang walked into the living room and burst out laughing: "Hahaha! How do the clothes feel?!"

Gu Xiaoman rolled her eyes and glared at him: "What kind of ridiculous outfits are these?"

The clothes hadn’t looked too bad folded up, but once worn, they were… suggestive.

The set consisted of a white T-shirt and matching athletic shorts. The T-shirt had a horizontal cutout across the chest, with additional cutouts scattered around the stomach and back. The shorts followed the same design, with circular cutouts revealing glimpses of skin underneath.

Zhao Mengrou and Gu Xiaoman instinctively covered their chests—though it wasn’t that revealing, they still felt too shy to walk around the living room freely.

Su Yang grinned: "It’s not like anything’s actually exposed. It’s way tamer than the deep-V dresses you usually wear. Relax, they’ll be comfy to sleep in."

Zhao Mengrou shot him a look: "It’s not the same. I knew you were up to no good."

"Which rooms are ours?" Gu Xiaoman asked.

Su Yang stepped closer, smirking: "Any one you want. You two sharing?"

"Separate rooms. We’re not used to sleeping together anymore."

Su Yang thought, Damn it. Sharing would’ve been perfect.

"Come on, just share one."

Gu Xiaoman and Zhao Mengrou shook their heads in unison: "Separate."

"Seriously? You shower together but won’t sleep together?"

"That’s different."

Ugh, my threesome plans are ruined.

"Fine, follow me." Su Yang led them to two bedrooms adjacent to the master suite.

He pushed open the first door. The room was spacious—not as large as the master, but still impressive. The bed was a massive 2.1-meter-wide, easily fitting three or four people of average build.

"I’ll take this one," Gu Xiaoman said.

"Cool. Mengrou, you’re in here." Su Yang walked across the hall to the other bedroom.

Zhao Mengrou followed and looked around, smiling approvingly: "Even your spare bedrooms are at least twice the size of my master bedroom."

"Only the best for you two."

Zhao Mengrou sat on the edge of the bed, hesitating as she looked at Su Yang.

"What’s up?"

"Nothing. You can go now. I’m going to sleep."

Su Yang flashed her a mischievous grin: "I’m right next door if you need anything."

Zhao Mengrou glared: "I won’t. Get out and close the door."

"Heh, fine."

Su Yang stepped out and shut the door behind him.

Across the hall, Gu Xiaoman was also about to close her door when she spotted him. She smiled: "It’s late. Goodnight."

"Night. Don’t lock the door."

Gu Xiaoman raised an eyebrow playfully: "Why would I? I feel perfectly safe here."

Su Yang chuckled: "Sweet dreams."

Click. The door closed.

Su Yang glanced between the two bedrooms, a sly smile on his face, before retreating to his own room.

'How should I make my move later? Who should I approach first? This is a bit of a dilemma.'
