Seaside Wedding Photography

After bringing Chen Qin to the agreed-upon location, Ye Shuang looked around but still didn’t see the so-called Teacher Anyi anywhere. Maybe they had arrived a bit early.

This was at the main entrance of a commercial plaza. A few scattered visitors were heading toward the gate. The sunlight was just right, faintly reflecting off the glass of the buildings, bringing with it a touch of heat.

“Ye, is the photographer a guy or a girl?” Chen Qin, standing beside Ye Shuang with her hands behind her back, asked out of curiosity.

“I’m not sure either, but if it’s a photographer, guys are probably more common, right?” Ye Shuang replied. Just then, he felt someone approaching from behind. He turned his head—

And noticed a girl wearing a mask. Even though the weather was still warm, she was dressed unusually heavily. With her jacket and mask on like that, she inevitably drew a second glance.

“You…” Ye Shuang looked her up and down. Seeing the tote bag and photography equipment she carried, he asked hesitantly,

“Are you Teacher Anyi?”

The girl tilted her head slightly and immediately replied in a quirky tone, “Yes, Mr. Ye?”

“Yeah, it’s us,” Ye Shuang said, but he felt a strange sense of familiarity with this girl, though not quite like he knew her.

Had he seen her somewhere before?

But thinking it over, he didn’t recognize any girl like this.

Chen Qin, standing beside him, smiled gently and said, “Hello, where should we go to change clothes?”

“You’re not wearing makeup?” The girl’s eyes above the mask swept briefly over Chen Qin before asking.

“That’s right, I have a baby, so I’d rather skip the makeup,” Chen Qin nodded. When it came to matters involving the baby, she was quite cautious, trying to avoid doing anything harmful, even if it was just a little.

“That works,” the girl shrugged. Then she asked Ye Shuang, “What about you? Wearing makeup?”

“I’m fine either way.”

“Customer, you’re really quite laid-back,” the girl tapped her tote bag lightly with her fingers, her eyes narrowing slightly. “Either way? If you’re that casual, the photos the photographer takes won’t have any soul at all.”

“Soul?”

“Yeah, soul. So you need to take your own photos seriously.” She nodded firmly.

“Alright, then let’s go to the bridal shop to freshen up a bit. But the wedding dress is custom-made, so we’ll shoot in other outfits first,” Ye Shuang said.

“Okay.”

Ye Shuang brought Teacher Anyi into the car, and she shifted slightly to sit in the back seat.

“If you need something to drink or a snack, there’s some in the back,” Ye Shuang added.

“Oh, I know.”

“You know?”

“I ride in this kind of car often,” the girl waved her hand, her voice muffled under the mask.

“Is that so?”

Ye Shuang glanced at his steering wheel. This was a car worth several million yuan. If this girl rode in such cars often, her family must be well-off. Photography might just be a hobby for her.

When they arrived at the reserved bridal shop, Chen Qin went to change clothes, while Ye Shuang had a simple makeup job done and a hairstyle arranged with the help of a stylist.

“Mr. Ye, you have your own photographer, right?” a shop employee said, glancing at Teacher Anyi not far away.

“Yeah, just help us with the makeup and styling.”

“Got it. Does the photographer need an assistant? We can provide one here.”

“Sure, add an assistant,” Ye Shuang thought having an extra hand would be good, especially for holding a reflector or something.

After some fussing around, Ye Shuang and the others were finally ready to head out for the shoot. Being a coastal city, their first stop was the beach.

With the weather being nice, even the seawater looked a bit translucent blue. In the distance, a lighthouse stood tall.

“Let’s do it here.”

“Okay.”

After adjusting her camera, Teacher Anyi had Ye Shuang and Chen Qin stand together. Chen Qin was wearing a white mermaid-tail dress that highlighted her figure beautifully.

“Smile. Good. Raise your hand a bit higher.”

The photos were taken quickly—click, click, click—a few shots in a row. Then Teacher Anyi reached out and said, “Mr. Ye, please pick up Miss Chen.”

“A cradle carry?”

“Yes.”

Ye Shuang glanced at Chen Qin beside him and gently lifted her up. Chen Qin’s face flushed slightly, since there were quite a few tourists on the beach. Seeing them shooting wedding photos, some had started watching with interest.

“Ye, so many people are staring,” Chen Qin said.

“It’s fine.” Ye Shuang lightly touched her nose with his. “Just look at me.”

Facing Ye Shuang’s gaze, Chen Qin became even shyer. Even though the two had been intimate many times, she couldn’t help her face turning as red as an apple.

“Hey, Teacher Anyi, is that enough?” After holding Chen Qin for a while, Ye Shuang felt his arms getting sore, but she was still clicking away with the camera. Hearing his question, she replied,

“Sir, if you can’t even hold your lover, how are you going to hold her and… how are you going to cuddle later? It’ll be fine, just hold on a bit longer.”

“Alright,” Ye Shuang could only keep holding Chen Qin.

Chen Qin then asked, “Ye, am I a little heavy?”

“Not heavy. All the flesh is in the right places.”

“You’re annoying, hehe.”

After a while, Teacher Anyi finally let Ye Shuang put Chen Qin down.

“Whew.” Ye Shuang stretched his arms; they were a bit sore, but if it meant good photos, it was no big deal.

“Wow, the bride!”

Hearing a sudden voice, Ye Shuang and Chen Qin noticed a little boy, maybe four or five years old, approaching. He looked at Chen Qin, pointed at her, and said, “I want to take photos with you too! You’ll be my bride!”

“Kid, you have to grow up before you can do that,” Chen Qin said with a smile, seeing the child.

“Take photos with me, or I’ll mess up your dress,” the boy said, picking up wet sand from the ground.

Ye Shuang frowned slightly but stepped forward, “Where are your parents?”

“Get lost! I’m talking to the pretty lady,” the boy shot Ye Shuang a glare, and without hesitation, threw the sand at him, dirtying his white suit.

Seeing this, Chen Qin’s originally warm smile turned cold.

“Kid, do you know what it means that all people are educable?”

“When I decide to teach you a lesson, I don’t care who you are.”
