After a Thousand Years of Death, I Was Revived by My Demon King Wife Chapter 130

Order Era, Year 1137.

"Xia Lun, Xia Lun! Xia Lun..."

Only when Aina could no longer do anything but slur his name did Xia Lun gently lay her down, wiping the faint sweat from his forehead before stretching his limbs beside the bed.

"Xia... Xia Lun..." Aina lay sprawled on the bed, her gaze hazy as she reached out for her lover, as if urging him to pick her up and cradle her in his arms for a while longer.

But unfortunately, Xia Lun didn’t notice. At that moment, he was throwing a series of quick punches into the air—carefully, holding back his strength so much that not even a ripple disturbed the space around him.

"Mmph—" Aina pouted in frustration.

Xia Lun exhaled deeply, his well-trained muscles a perfect blend of aesthetics and raw power.

The only thing that seemed out of place were the faint bite marks Aina had left on his shoulders.

Splat—

A small water orb smacked against Xia Lun’s back.

"What’s wrong?" He turned to look at his wife on the bed. "Don’t blame me, Aina. You were the one who said earlier that as punishment, I could ignore your pleas until I was satisfied tonight."

Otherwise, Aina wouldn’t have ended up in such a state.

Aina spread her arms wide toward him.

"Hmm? You mean you want me to keep going?"

"Of course not! Just hold me already, Xia Lun!" Aina whined. "Are you some beast in heat or something?"

Finally obliging, Xia Lun scooped her up into his arms.

"Ugh, you’re all sweaty," Aina grumbled, though she pressed herself even tighter against him.

"It’s fragrant sweat," Xia Lun corrected.

"Blegh—shameless." Aina pretended to gag.

"I’m going to take a shower," Xia Lun announced.

Aina remained clinging to him, clearly intending to join.

The room had its own private washroom.

A water-attribute magic circle was engraved on the ceiling. By pressing the magic stone placed nearby, mana would flow into the circle, causing a steady stream of water to cascade down. Another magic stone could adjust a separate fire-attribute circle to control the temperature.

An ingenious design.

Only a major city like Olie City would have inns of this caliber.

"Xia Lun, it’s getting a little hot."

"Really? I think it’s fine." Xia Lun twisted the embedded magic stone slightly, lowering the water temperature.

"I meant... I’m getting hot." Aina wrapped her arms around Xia Lun’s neck, licking and occasionally nibbling at his earlobe.

Xia Lun: "..."

When he didn’t react, Aina urged, "Xia Lun, don’t hold back. Enjoy me."

Xia Lun gave her an incredulous look. "Are you the beast in heat now? We just finished before coming in here."

"So what if I am!" Aina playfully gnawed at his shoulder again, leaving another faint mark. "That was then, this is now... Besides, we’ve already changed locations."

Did switching scenes reset the cooldown? This was the first Xia Lun had heard of such a thing.

"Well, you’d better last longer this time." With his wife making such an offer, Xia Lun wasn’t about to refuse.

Aina’s smooth back was pressed against the tiled wall.

......

Warm water streamed down Liyana’s curvaceous body, splitting into rivulets before finally trickling down her legs and into the drain.

She removed the magic stone, and the flow gradually ceased.

"So pretty," Liyana murmured, admiring herself in the mirror before striking a few seductive poses and giggling like a fool.

Not one to linger in self-admiration, she shook her golden mane like a wet dog, sending droplets flying everywhere.

Then, snatching up a white towel, she roughly dried her hair and padded barefoot out of the bathroom.

"Mo Lini, I’m done," Liyana called to the girl on the bed. "Did you feel the ground shaking a bit while I was showering? Was there an earthquake or something?"

"Eh? I didn’t notice anything." Mo Lini glanced up, then immediately flushed and covered her eyes. "Liyana! Can’t you at least wrap a towel around yourself when you come out?!"

Liyana stood there completely naked, still vigorously rubbing her hair with the towel—though the strands cascading over her chest conveniently obscured certain points.

As for further down...

Well, it matched the hair color. But Mo Lini really didn’t need to know that.

"Come on, we’re both girls. What’s there to be shy about?" A small flame flickered at Liyana’s fingertips as she began drying her damp locks.

This was the fruit of her diligent training at the magic academy. She hadn’t just been fooling around and dating while there—after all, she was already enrolled...

"You’re different!" Mo Lini eyed her warily. "You... you’re not a normal girl."

"Huh? But you’re the one looking at me. If anything, you’re the one taking advantage," Liyana reasoned matter-of-factly.

"That’s... that’s not how it works." Mo Lini shook her head. "If you’re the exhibitionist, then even if I see you naked, you’re still the one harassing me."

Liyana pondered this... and conceded the point.

"Fine, my bad. I’ll be more careful next time." She poked at her own ample chest and smirked. "Though I do think it’s a nice view."

Mo Lini couldn’t help glancing down at her own modest figure—where she had a clear line of sight to her stomach.

Ugh... So unfair...

The room had two beds—one for Liyana and Mo Lini, the other empty... Not that Mo Lini would ever agree to that arrangement.

A well-aimed pillow from Mo Lini sent Liyana scrambling back.

"Today was so relaxing," Liyana sighed, flopping onto the bed.

After arriving in Olie City, she’d spent the day dragging Musen and Mo Lini around to shops, stuffing themselves silly, and indulging in all sorts of fun before retreating to this luxurious inn to collapse on a soft bed.

Back in their adventuring days, such comforts were unthinkable... The roads were rough, travel was slow, and reaching a new city took forever. Most nights were spent camping under the stars, with the occasional bath in a clean river being the height of luxury.

And not a single one of their party members ever tried to peek. How boring.

Well... given how Aina was back then, anyone who did try would’ve ended up in a very ugly way. No joke.

Despite the hardships, though, everyone had seemed happy. Nobody ever wanted to quit.

Humming an odd adventurer’s tune, Liyana drifted off to sleep.

Mo Lini wasn’t the least bit surprised to see her sprawled on her back, arms pillowing her head, one leg crossed over the other—already out cold.

Definitely not the most comfortable sleeping position... but Liyana could fall asleep in any absurd pose. Mo Lini was long used to it.

"An adventure, huh..."

Mo Lini had been away for so long, yet she still hadn’t quite grasped the reality of it. Watching the faint smile on Liyana’s lips, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of envy.

"It must be such a joyful thing."
